Spurs @ Rockets Capsule
San Antonio travels to Houston, and play their fifth road game of the season. Fingers crossed; the Spurs might be able to pull out their first road win of the season.
Why the Spurs Will Win: If Parker win the guard battle, and feed the rock down low, WATCH OUT! Parker has been stellar in this three game win streak, and his effort has made the difference. Duncan should be able to dominate in the paint against Chuck Hayes and Luis Scola.
Why the Rockets Will Win: The Rockets have to realize that the players on their team tonight are in the color white. Rockets were burned on the fast break, because the Mavericks were causing turnovers. Houston has to be able to attack San Antonio early, and get them in a hole. Also, so far this season, Houston hasn't lost back-to-back games. Houston is coming off a 130-99 loss to Dallas.
The Pick: Spurs 101, Rockets 91

Spurs vs. Warriors Game Capsule
Tonight the Spurs taken on the Warriors at the AT&T Center. Should be a great game, especially scoring wise. We all know about West Coast style of play, with the exception of the Los Angeles Lakers. Here's your game preview!
San Antonio Spurs: We all know San Antonio can score, but the key to this game for the Spurs is to stop the Warriors from going crazy tonight. Golden State averages almost 110 points per game this season. However, teams have been able to stop them, as their record shows 5-8. San Antonio's defense will win them the game.
Golden State Warriors: The Warriors run a typical west coast offense. It's all about being up-tempo, and winning the game by out shooting the opponent. Warriors can easily beat the Spurs, with the age of the Spurs, if they can turn the ball over and get points in transition. Warriors are in the AT&T Center, but the Spurs are still without Manu Ginobili.
The Pick: Spurs win by a few points

The Spurs gave us fans something to cheer for on Monday. Duncan put up big numbers, again. Matt Bonner was 6 for 8 from beyond the arc. The Spurs scored a combined total of 63 points in the second half. And San Antonio beat Milwaukee after being beat by them in their two match-ups last year.Milwaukee's proclaimed early Rookie of the Year, Brandon Jennings, only had 12 points. Jennings couldn't find the bottom of the net, going 6 for 21 from the field. San Antonio's defense had an easy time guarding the project R.O.Y., and let Brandon know what a championship team looks like.
Early on, San Anton was able to attack the basket, and get a nice lead on the Bucks. However, the Bucks climbed their way back in to the ball game, and led the game at half, 50-49. Coach Pop wasn't going to let this game slip by, though. Pop brought out the big guns, Tim Duncan.
Duncan and the Spurs went wild in the third quarter. They outscored the Bucks 37-24. Duncan's ability to draw the foul helped the Spurs get to the line, and extend their regained lead. Bonner hit two three's that added to his six on the night.
In the fourth, Milwaukee tried to find a way to win, but were foiled by the Spurs who kept on putting points. San Antonio's 112-98 victory improved their record to 6-6. This win you could say is their second biggest win behind the Dallas victory a few weeks back. Milwaukee was 8-3 going in to the ball game, and came out the loser.
Spurs fans now await R.O.Y. hopeful, Stephen Curry, and the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday at the AT&T Center. Friday the Spurs travel to the Toyota Center to take on the Rockets. Should be a good week Spurs fans!

Coming off the tough loss to Utah, I thought the Spurs would show some more heart tonight. However, you must have forgotten the Spurs CAN NOT rebound. It's very disappointing to see the Spurs not play to their fullest potential. San Antonio trailed early, and three pointers couldn't even help the Spurs. The Spurs went 4 for 21 from beyond the arc, and had to find a different way to get to the basket.Parker wasn't able to provide anything tonight, as he went out in the first half. Parker tweaked his ankle, and I"m not currently updated on his status since the injury. Though, Spurs can't blame Parker's absence for the loss. Parker has been unproductive, and only scored 4 points prior to leaving the game.
Now the Spurs are at 2-3. They rallied late, and got within a bucket of tying the ball game, but couldn't get the job done. Brandon Roy and the talented Blazers responded with a 96 point game, and are trying to prove their superiority in the Northwest division.
So to wrap things up, I'm probably not going to recap the Toronto game if we put up this same kind of performance. I'm sick of repeating myself, and I'd rather not sound like a broken record.
